The body keeps its own lore. I'm trained to read it.

Measure the body. Understand the pattern.
Treat what needs treatment. Train what needs rebuilding.

Assessment-led therapy and rehabilitation guided by objective measurement, specialised assessment tools, individual biomechanics, and the person in front of me. I look beyond isolated symptoms to understand how posture, movement, range of motion, muscular balance and lifestyle factors may be adding to the pain or dysfunction. From there, I establish a solid baseline and build a tailored plan for you combining remedial therapy, corrective movement and practical strategies to improve function, resilience and long-term physical vigor.

“If I’m not assessing, I’m guessing. First I find the pattern behind the posture. Then we begin.” Working principle, Wellness & Lore

Assessment-Led Rehabilitation & Remedial Therapy

Every body presents differently. Rather than beginning with a generic exercise programme or massage routine, the process starts by measuring how your body moves. Detailed postural assessment, joint range-of-motion testing, goniometry, plumb-line analysis and movement screening are used to build an objective profile of your posture, restrictions, asymmetries and compensation patterns.

Those findings are documented in a personal assessment database, creating a measurable baseline that can be revisited and reassessed over time. From there, remedial therapy and corrective rehabilitation are developed from the same assessment findings, allowing hands-on treatment and movement work to support one another rather than function as separate services.

The Process

How I work.

Four stages shape every client relationship. What changes is the direction the assessment points us in.

01

Measure

Every assessment begins with objective measurement using specialised tools such as goniometry, spinal and CHEK inclinometers, forward head callipers, plumb-line analysis and movement screening. Together, they help us understand how your body is positioned, how it moves, and where restriction or compensation may be occurring before treatment begins.

40+ individual measurements and movement assessments recorded in a single client evaluation.

Treat & Programme

The assessment determines what comes next.

Findings guide whether the work is hands-on, movement-based, or a combination of both. Treatment, programming and nutritional guidance are shaped around what the assessment reveals, with lifestyle support running alongside the process rather than being treated as a separate piece.

Assessment findings

Hands-On Therapy

  1. Assessment
  2. Remedial Therapy
  3. Reassessment

Remedial massage and soft-tissue work are directed by the assessment findings. Rather than treating only where discomfort is felt, the aim is to address relevant restrictions, tissue tension and compensatory patterns that may be influencing movement or pain.

Corrective Rehabilitation

  1. Assessment
  2. Individual Programme
  3. Progression

Corrective exercise, mobility, strength and movement progressions are selected from the individual findings. The programme is built around restoring the capacities that testing shows need attention, then progressed as the body changes.

Reassess

Progress isn’t judged by how you feel alone. Key measurements are repeated and compared against your original baseline that I recorded, allowing treatment and programming to adapt as your body changes.

I don’t guess whether it’s working. I measure again.

1:1 Holistic Assessment

The whole picture, before the plan.

Posture and movement tell only part of the story. Alongside the physical assessment, I take every client through a series of meticulous questionnaires, reviewing health history, nutrition, digestion, sleep, stress, recovery, daily habits and current goals in detail.

Together, these findings create a more complete picture of what may be influencing the way you feel, move and recover, so the plan is built around the person as a whole, not just the area that hurts.

  1. 01

    In-depth questionnaires

Your health history, current concerns, digestion, nutrition, sleep, stress, recovery, previous approaches and goals are documented in detail.

  2. 02

    A record of real days

Over several days, you record what you eat and drink, how you move, how you sleep and when you rest. This gives us a picture of your actual routine, not just what you remember in the moment.

  3. 03

    Talked through, 1:1

We review everything together, online or in person. This is where the context comes through: what has changed, what keeps repeating, what has already been tried and what matters most to you.

  4. 04

    One integrated assessment

Your lifestyle and health information is considered alongside the physical findings. From there, treatment, movement programming, nutrition and lifestyle guidance are shaped around the same overall picture and reassessed as things change.

Founder, Wellness & Lore

I'm the practitioner behind Wellness & Lore, and every session is carried out personally by me. My path began with yoga, teaching as an instructor in Cusco, Peru, in 2016, and gradually developed into an assessment-led practice shaped by CHEK Practitioner Level III training and a Diploma of Remedial Massage.

Every client begins the same way: measured, not guessed. From there, I draw on remedial therapy, corrective movement, holistic health coaching and physiology-based breathwork, choosing the approach according to what the assessment reveals rather than following a fixed routine.

I practise independently on Australia's Sunshine Coast and also work with private clients internationally, with recent work across Peru, France, Spain, the UK, Brazil and Mexico.
